Women in an Australian study tried a testosterone spray to see if it increased their libido and it did, but so did the placibo. The research studied a group of women aged 35 to 46 which seems young to say they were menopausal. The women reported that they experienced low libido. The researchers also rwsted the women and found them to be low in free tesosterone as well. This “free” restosterone is the portion of total testosteron that is not bound by protien in the blood and if available to do the function the hormone was intended to do.
The study was probably using synthetic testosterone and there wre many adverse side effects shch as hair growth on the site where the spray was applied. Had the researchers merely increased the free testosterone using a product like Testofen, the major component of TESTYX TPL, the women would have experienced a 100% increase in free testosterone that their orn bodies created. Side effects (at least the negative ones) would most likely and been nonexistant.
